 Round Up Program
Round Up is a program that allows our customers to Round Up their monthly utility bill to the next dollar amount and donate the extra money to local charities and organizations. This is an easy way for our customers to support charities and organization within our community with pocket change they will not miss. The maximum amount of yearly donations is only $11.88 (12 x .99). The organizations that receive the donations submit request and are then selected by the employees of PLWC. Currently there are 5 organizations each receiving an equal share of the total donations. To Round Up, the customer must simply check the box on their monthly bill designated for Round Up and PLWC will automatically begin Rounding Up their monthly bill. More information...
Partners In Education
Paragould Light Water and Cable participates in the (PIE) program through The Chamber of Commerce. It is a program set aside by the chamber for local businesses to donate time for children in need in Greene County school systems. PLWC has participated in the past through the mentoring program, lunch buddy program and various safety demonstrations.
Greene County Community Fund
The Greene County Community Fund is a program designed to aid numerous organizations throughout Paragould and Greene County. Paragould Light Water and Cable has been a proud participant in the community fund program since its inception. PLWC takes pride in having 100% participation from its employees each year, which means that every PLWC employee contributes to the Greene County Community Fund.
Without aid from the outstanding citizens of Greene County, some of the organizations that are touched by the community fund might not exist. If you would like to donate to the Greene County Community Fund you may contact Joan Bradley at 870-239-8435.
